We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Coffee Shop Manager to oversee the daily operations of our coffee shop. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food service management, exceptional customer service skills, and a passion for coffee. This role requires effective leadership and team management abilities to ensure a high-quality experience for our customers while maintaining operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

Manage daily operations of the coffee shop, ensuring smooth service and customer satisfaction. Oversee food preparation, cooking, and presentation to maintain quality standards. Utilize POS systems (Aloha POS, Micros POS) for efficient cash handling and inventory control. Train and develop staff in customer service, food handling, and operational procedures. Conduct interviews and manage hiring processes for new team members. Implement food safety protocols and ensure compliance with health regulations. Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed to maintain stock. Develop budgets and manage financial aspects of the coffee shop operations. Foster a positive work environment through effective team management and leadership. Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues to enhance the overall experience.

Requirements

Previous experience in restaurant management or coffee shop management is essential. Strong background in food service management with knowledge of food safety standards. Experience in quick service & fast food restaurant environments is preferred. Proven skills in staff training, development, and team management. Familiarity with cash handling procedures and inventory control practices. Culinary experience or kitchen management background is a plus. Excellent customer service skills with a focus on hospitality and guest satisfaction. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a diverse team. Experience in budgeting, financial management, and operational efficiency is beneficial.
