A Code Enforcement Specialist plays an active role in achieving long-term customer satisfaction in the context of Community Association relationships. Specific responsibilities will vary with designated communities and may include, but are not limited to: Inspecting properties for maintenance, landscaping, safety, and compliance issues and accurately recording findings.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Meet and greet homeowners. Build relationships with homeowners and members of the Board of Directors.
Walk and inspect community to ensure homeowners are following HOA rules and regulations.
Walk and inspect community to ensure maintenance concerns and repairs are being addressed.
Take notes, pictures, and document of findings.
Complete and submit reports to the General Manager and Board President.
Enter and update work orders for maintenance team.
Contact and schedule maintenance vendors onsite for repairs.
Attend board meetings to update homeowners and the board of Code and Compliance issues.
Respond to and investigate allegations of violations of codes to determine validity of complaints and the appropriate course of action to mitigate issues.
Investigate and enforce property codes within boundaries.
Schedule and perform systematic property maintenance inspections to maintain or achieve minimum property standards.
Other duties as assigned.
Payrate: $25-$32 an hour.
Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED Required.
1+ years of administrative, clerical, and customer service experience.
Excellent communication skills, written and spoken.
Customer service driven, ability to prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
Self-motivated, proactive, detail oriented and a team player.
