Overview

We are seeking a skilled CNC Operator to join our dynamic manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in CNC operation and some experience in programming. The ideal candidate would have a experience with a variety of CNC machines, a flexibility in thinking, and the ability to learn new skills on the fly. Some experience in manual machining would be an added benefit.

Responsibilities

Operate CNC machines, including CNC lathes and milling machines, to produce parts according to specifications. Set up and adjust machine tools for optimal performance based on production requirements. Read and interpret blueprints, CAD drawings, and technical documents to understand machining requirements. Perform CNC programming and CAM programming as needed for various projects. Conduct quality control checks using precision measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers to ensure parts meet tolerances. Maintain equipment by performing routine maintenance and troubleshooting issues as they arise. Collaborate with team members on the assembly line for efficient production flow. Utilize hand tools and tooling for fabrication tasks as required. Follow safety protocols in the manufacturing facility to ensure a safe working environment.

Requirements

Proven experience as a CNC Operator or similar role in a manufacturing environment. Proficiency in operating CNC machinery, including knowledge of HAAS controls and programmable logic controllers (PLCs). Experience with press brake machines, and welding is a plus. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot machinery effectively. Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to machining processes. Experience with SolidWorks or other CAD software is desirable. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high-quality standards. Previous factory or warehouse experience is preferred, along with materials handling skills. Pay: $21.00 - $27.00 per hour
