Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Preferred experience with Horizontal Machining Center

Preferred experience with Siemen Controls and/or Fanuc Controls

Understand the speeds and feeds pertaining to the machine they are operating (where applicable) Knowledge of all measuring instruments and gages for their operation Working knowledge in manufacturing and quality processes and principles Able to understand and maintain machine complements (when applicable) LOTO certified Understanding of cutting tools (and offset geometry) Thorough understanding of SPC knowledge & mathematical skills Perform first piece verification process per part number Ability to Perform Autonomous Maintenance Assists in set up and operation of all standard & specialized machines Assists in machine set up Responsible for setting up N/C machine, loading correct program, verifying material size, loading parts onto machine table inspecting parts for quality, using computer to log into MRP for run times, making tooling, loading of cutters per N/C set up book, Editing programs

Basic Qualifications:

5 year of CNC experience Required

Employee will be required to wear personal safety equipment such as safety glasses, hearing protection, or proper footwear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) in specified areas.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $22.00 - 30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 60 per week Overtime is not guaranteed
