Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate CMT/Level One Medication Aide to join our team in providing exceptional care to our residents. The ideal candidate will have experience in assisted living, nursing homes, or hospitals, and possess a strong understanding of patient care protocols, including medication administration and documentation.

Responsibilities

Administer medications to residents according to established protocols and physician orders. Maintain accurate medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Monitor and record vital signs, reporting any changes or concerns to nursing staff. Assist residents with daily living activities, ensuring their comfort and dignity. Provide care for individuals with special needs. Collaborate with healthcare teams to implement individualized care plans. Utilize electronic medical record system, Point Click Care for effective patient management. Engage residents in meaningful activities that promote their physical and emotional well-being. Ensure a clean and safe environment for all residents.

Requirements

Previous experience in assisted living, nursing home, or hospital settings preferred. Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and vital sign assessment. Familiarity with caregiving practices for seniors, including hospice and memory care. Ability to work effectively with individuals with disabilities and developmental challenges. Strong communication skills and the ability to document medical records accurately. Understanding of medication administration protocols and safety measures. Certification as a CMT or Level One Medication Aide is preferred. Compassionate demeanor with a commitment to providing high-quality patient care.
