In this role, you will utilize advanced coordinate measuring machines (CMM) and precision measuring instruments to perform detailed dimensional inspections of complex components and assemblies. Your expertise will help maintain compliance with industry standards such as AS9100 and ISO 9001, supporting our commitment to delivering top-tier products. Operate and program Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM), including Polyworks software, to perform precise dimensional inspections on manufactured parts. Interpret blueprints, schematics, and CAD models created in SolidWorks or other CAD software to verify part specifications. Conduct thorough quality inspections using precision measuring tools such as bore gauges, micrometers, calipers, and dial indicators to ensure parts meet strict tolerances. Apply GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) principles to assess feature accuracy and conformance to engineering drawings. Review manufacturing processes and tooling setups for compliance with ASME codes & standards and industry best practices. Document inspection results accurately, generate detailed reports, and communicate findings clearly to production teams for corrective actions. Support quality assurance initiatives by participating in audits aligned with ISO 9001, AS9100, and other regulatory requirements.



Proficiency with Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM) operation and programming, especially PC-DMIS software, Polyworks and HI QA. Strong understanding of blueprint reading, schematics, GD&T, and technical drawings. Experience with quality control procedures within manufacturing environments focused on machining or CNC processes. Knowledge of industry standards such as AS9100, ISO 9001, and ASME codes & standards. Mechanical aptitude with familiarity in tooling setup, calibration of precision measuring instruments like micrometers and bore gauges. Ability to interpret CAD models created in SolidWorks or similar CAD programs; experience with CAD data is highly desirable. Excellent math skills for measurement calculations and dimensional analysis; familiarity with Schematics is a plus. Strong attention to detail combined with effective communication skills for reporting inspection results accurately. Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 50 per week
