American Legion Apache Post 27 provides services to military veterans and their families including a place to build community, socialize, have a good meal and enjoy a variety of entertainment. We are accepting applications for a Club Manager to lead our dynamic team.
The position of Club Manager requires a wide range of responsibility, ranging from overseeing the appearance and cleanliness of the post to many of the day-to-day operations. Working and collaborating with the Post Commander, the Executive Board, and overseeing the Bar Manager and Kitchen Manager in achieving all requirements needed to support the safe and legal operations of the Post. The Club Manager is directly accountable to the Commander and Executive Board. Responsibilities
Daily reconciliation and recording of all club accounts, reporting to the Post Finance Officer, all bills, receipts, register tapes and cash for deposit.
Manage payrolls for all Post Employees.
Manage purchases and finances of Pull Tabs.
Ensure a safe non-hazardous and non-hostile environment for members and guests while maintaining responsible business practices.
Manage special and social events.
Manage safe operation of the club property.
Maintain proper up to date and placement of safety equipment,i.e. Fire extinguishers, first Aid Kits, Emergency Lighting, etc.
Oversee routine and scheduled maintenance of all interior and exterior areas of the club, ensuring compliance with building, health and food safety regulations.
Engage with customers, providing recommendations and ensuring a positive club experience.
Handle cash transactions accurately, including processing payments through POS systems.
Assist in inventory management by tracking supplies and placing orders as needed.
Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food service during busy periods, including catering and banquet events.
Uphold high standards of hospitality while managing time effectively during peak hours.
Direct the hiring process for staff presenting recommendations to the Executive Committee for final approval.
Provide supervision and direction to Bar and Kitchen Managers
Skills
Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent sales abilities to promote menu items and increase beverage sales.
Familiarity with food safety practices, food handling procedures, bar operations and basic accounting for accurate cash handling.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team while maintaining a friendly demeanor towards guests.
Adhere to Local, State and Federal laws and maintain local, State and Federal laws including maintenance of current licenses
Proficient in POS and cash management systems.
Proficiency in Windows and Microsoft Office 365

Pay: $39,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
