Duties
Lead and supervise club staff, including hiring, training, and evaluating team members to ensure high performance and excellent customer service.
Oversee daily club operations, including membership management, event planning, and facility maintenance.
Manage inventory control, purchasing, and merchandising to ensure the club is well-stocked and visually appealing.
Handle financial responsibilities such as payroll, bookkeeping, cash handling, POS transactions, and budgeting.
Develop and implement marketing strategies to promote club activities and memberships.
Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies; maintain a clean and organized environment.
Conduct employee orientation, training & development sessions to enhance team skills.
Manage shift scheduling to optimize staffing levels during peak hours.
Oversee sales management efforts including retail sales, pricing strategies, and promotional campaigns.
Foster positive relationships with members through excellent communication skills and personalized service.
Utilize wireless sales techniques for promotional activities when applicable.
Experience
Proven management experience in retail, hospitality, or club environments with supervisory responsibilities.
Strong skills in negotiation, employee orientation, interviewing, recruiting, payroll processing, bookkeeping, inventory management, POS systems, purchasing, supervising teams, retail sales & management, shift management, retail math & pricing strategies.
Demonstrated leadership in store or club management with experience in merchandising, stocking, marketing, and customer service excellence.
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently; strong communication skills including phone etiquette.
Experience with budgeting & financial oversight; familiarity with administrative tasks such as training & development programs.
