We are recruiting a full-time Clinical Support Staff to join our team in Milford, DE!

This position would be responsible for performing a wide variety of patient care activities as directed by the attending physician, Clinical Director, Clinical Supervision and/or Executive Director. He/she may assist with providing group facilitation, AMA blocking, de-escalation, Biobed facilitation, and daily 15-minute individual check-in\xe2\x80\x99s, or counseling, as needed. Collaborates with the Treatment Team as instructed by Clinical and/or Executive Director, or Clinical Supervision.

Essential Functions:
  • Participate effectively in multidisciplinary treatment plan reviews, demonstrating adequate preparation and understanding of patient issues, progress, areas of resistance, positive and negative strategies, etc.
  • Assist patients in gaining group process skills.
  • Track patient\xe2\x80\x99s clinical problems in group.
  • Address problem behaviors.
  • Utilize experiential techniques effectively.
  • Create atmosphere in which self-disclosure is facilitated.
  • Conduct educational groups (lectures/videos/discussions) effectively.
  • Adhere to time schedules.
  • Provide individual 15-minute counseling to patients at a residential level of care daily in accordance with Delaware DSAMH standards
  • Provide group facilitation daily or as needed.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelors Degree in field of Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, Nursing, Rehabilitation, Special Education, Health Education, or a related human services field; Master\'s Degree, preferred.
  • One Year of work experience in substance abuse and mental health field, preferred.
  • CPRS, preferred.

Experience : 1 years: Experience in substance abuse and mental health field preferred.
