Aerie Healthcare is a specialized outpatient mental health day treatment program that focuses on providing Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) and Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) services exclusively for adolescents dealing with mental health issues. Aerie Healthcare is seeking a Clinical Program Director to serve a dual role as a lead clinician and site-level operational manager within Aerie Healthcare's Partial Hospitalization (PHP) and Intensive Outpatient (IOP) programs. This position is responsible for the daily clinical operations of the assigned site, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, trauma-informed, and developmentally appropriate care. The Clinical Program Director provides direct therapeutic services, supervises site-based clinical and program staff, and helps foster a supportive, collaborative, and efficient team environment.
Responsibilities
Manage the day-to-day clinical operations of the PHP/IOP program at the designated site.
Serve as the primary point of contact for site-level clinical concerns, ensuring smooth coordination of services.
Act as a liaison between site staff and the Clinical Director to communicate needs, updates, and escalated concerns.
Promote a safe, therapeutic, and strengths-based environment for clients and staff.
Monitor fidelity to clinical models and ensure treatment aligns with the organization's mission, standards, and goals.
Collaborate with administrative leadership to support program efficiency and compliance.
Provide clinical supervision and support to therapists, interns, and other designated staff at the site.
Model and support implementation of evidence-based, trauma-informed care practices.
Participate in onboarding and training of new staff, ensuring clinical quality and alignment with program expectations.
Monitor documentation quality and timeliness in alignment with agency standards and regulatory requirements.
Promote a collaborative, ethical, and inclusive team environment that supports staff development and retention.
Offer consultation and guidance on complex or high-risk cases, encouraging team-based decision-making.
Maintain a reduced caseload, providing individual, family, and group therapy in the PHP and/or IOP.
Facilitate evidence-based group interventions tailored to the needs of adolescents.
Participate in treatment planning, case reviews, and discharge coordination.
Engage in risk assessment, crisis management, and safety planning as needed.
Collaborate closely with families, schools, outpatient providers, and other community supports.
Review and monitor clinical documentation, ensuring timely, thorough, and compliant records in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR).
Ensure treatment plans, progress notes, discharge summaries, and collateral communication meet agency and regulatory standards.
Track client progress toward treatment goals and support effective discharge planning in collaboration with families and providers.
Qualifications
:
Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or related field.
Independent clinical license required (e.g., LICSW, LMHC, LMFT, or equivalent).
Minimum of 3 years post-licensure experience, ideally in a higher level of care setting (PHP, IOP, residential, or inpatient).
Previous supervisory or leadership experience strongly preferred.
Approved Clinical Supervisor with NH OPLC
Experience working with adolescents and families in behavioral health settings.
Strong organizational, communication, and clinical documentation skills.
Demonstrated ability to lead with empathy, integrity, and accountability.
