The Clinical Didactics Administrative Coordinator shall assist the clinical medicine department chairs by organizing and maintaining the offices in the departments, coordinating travel arrangements, coordinating calendars including meeting schedules and arrangements, handling clinical departmental budgets, and coordinating all aspects of didactics developed and delivered by clinical faculty in the OMS I & II Clinical Skills courses, OMS II systems courses, and the OMSIII and OMSIV core rotations.
Required Qualifications

High school diploma; *two years office experience.
Preferred Qualifications

Two year degree.

coordinate OMS I and OMS II clinical skills training activities and make sure there is ample staffing.

proficiently utilize database creation and management software including but not limited to SharePoint apps (Excel, Word, etc.) and Google apps (sheets, docs, etc.)

create grading schedules for clinical didactics

create schedules for certain faculty based didactics.
Job Duty

record attendance for didactic events for the clinical department as well as schedule/execute make-ups
Job Duty

track CME time for adjuncts, part-time, and full-time faculty to give to the director of CME.

provide and coordinate proctors for didactics held in the CEC with administrative staff.
Job Duty

coordinate timing of didactics given by DCOM clinical faculty to OMS I and OMS II students and associated organizations
Job Duty

assist DCOM Clinical faculty in the development and testing of didactic material for OMSI & II clinical skills courses
Job Duty

assist DCOM clinical faculty in the maximal use of LMU-DCOM Learning Management System(s)s capabilities to provide said mentioned clinical didactics, including but not limited to Blackboard and SimCapture.

assist DCOM clinical faculty in the maximal use of LMU-DCOM Learning Management System s capabilities to provide assessment of OMS I and II competencies and maintain didactic grades for OMS I and II and others as needed
Job Duty

assist DCOM clinical faculty in the maximal use of LMU-DCOM Learning Management System s capabilities to provide assessment of OMS III and IV competencies and maintain didactic grades for OMS III & IV Core rotations and others as needed

greet and direct visitors in a friendly and professional manner

answer and direct telephone calls
Job Duty

assist clinical medicine administrative assistant to maintain Outlook calendars for DCOM clinical faculty
Job Duty

provide office support (typing, filing, copying, etc.) as required
Job Duty

maintain records and files for clinical didactics both physical and electronic.

initiate action as necessary for the handling of work items and issues particularly those related to departmental faculty, staff, and students

operate and maintain office equipment
Job Duty

maintain conscientious work ethic to include punctuality, professional dress and demeanor
Job Duty

take minutes for division and department meetings or as assigned
Job Duty

assist clinical faculty with data management, proctoring labs/exams, formatting exam questions
Job Duty

assist other administrative staff with overflow work and phone coverage
Job Duty

manage Staples orders for Clinical Medicine Department
Job Duty

perform other duties as assigned.
