Job Summary and Qualifications

As a Clinical Coordinator (RN) you will oversee the overall care of patients on the unit while also taking patient assignments. On the IMCU you will care for patients who require a higher intensity of care than a medical surgical, including a higher level of cardiac care. The typical patient needs cardiac monitoring and administration of cardiac medication.
  • Managing unit personnel under direction provided by the unit Director and Manager will be a primary function of this role.
  • You will help ensure staff have proper orientation and documented competencies to provide a competent level of care for patients.
  • Promote and monitor unit safety and quality measures of your team. Counsel staff to meet the goals of the unit and organization.
  • You will provide assessment and care of cardiac and critically ill patients.
  • In this role you will demonstrate your knowledge of cardiac telemetry monitoring to provide excellent care to the patient population.
  • You will monitor, record and communicate patient conditions as appropriate utilizing computerized documentation systems.
  • Coordinate patient\'s discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team.
REQUIREMENTS
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
  • Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s Degree preferred.
  • Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of NH or valid compact state.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • ACLS or successful completion of ACLS within three months of hire.
  • Associate Degree
