The Client Service Specialists provides operational and administrative support to the Clinical Consulting department and pharmacists. Assistance to Clinical Consultant pharmacist may include preparing client deliverables, addressing client inquiries and reporting. Various other tasks related to maintenance and retention of accounts.

This position is full-time (40 hours/week) Monday - Friday. Employees are required to work our normal business hours of 8:00am \xe2\x80\x93 5:00pm CST. It may be necessary, given the business need, to work occasional overtime or weekends.

We offer 2-3 weeks of paid training. The hours during training will be 8:00am to 5:00pm CST, Monday - Friday. Training will be conducted virtually from your home.

Primary Responsibilities:

Daily responsibilities may include:

  • Providing operational and administrative support to Clinical Consultants to help ensure superior account management with focus on client retention/satisfaction.
  • Delivers high quality reports including appropriate formatting, with minimal supervision.
  • Prepare client-specific deliverables including, but not limited to, formulary and utilization management extracts, Preferred Drug Lists, clinical program collateral, Medispan updates, P&T documentation
  • Ability to prioritize workload and meet internal and client deliverable timelines/deadlines
  • Triage inquiries (via mailbox or task intake system) and assure all inquiries are directed and responded to within service level guarantees
  • Provide assistance in the implementation/maintenance of clients
  • Create report documentation and maintain standard operating procedures.
  • Conduct testing and provide results based on given criteria.
  • Actively participate on client calls, interdepartmental calls, and team meetings, as applicable
  • Display an eagerness to learn and grow within the Clinical Consulting team
  • Collaborate with other departments outside of Clinical Consulting to meet all expectations, deliverables, and timelines
  • Assist Clinical Consultant in preparation for client meetings, quarterly performance reviews through reporting or PowerPoint slide creation
  • Responsible for meeting turnaround time requirements and highly responsive to requests.

Required Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma / GED (or higher) OR equivalent experience
  • 1+ years of experience working in a pharmacy related role, PBM or Healthcare service environment with knowledge of pharmacy terminology (NDC, GPI, Therapeutic Class)
  • 1+ years of experience working with basic and intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Excel (Formatting cells, managing worksheets, function and formula\xe2\x80\x99s (SUM, VLOOKUP), filtering and sorting data, pivot tables)
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word (write and modify word documents), and PowerPoint (ability to create and edit slides)
  • Ability to work during our normal business hours of 8:00am - 5:00pm CST. It may be necessary, given the business need, to work occasional overtime.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Pharmacy Technician certification
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Access and SharePoint
  • Experience working in one or more of the following systems: RxClaim (AS400), RxBuilder, RxTrack, Showcase or Attachmate. Specific systems may be used in some roles but not others.

  • Ability to keep all company sensitive documents secure (if applicable)
  • Required to have a dedicated work area established that is separated from other living areas and provides information privacy.
  • Must live in a location that can receive a UnitedHealth Group approved high-speed internet connection or leverage an existing high-speed internet service.
