We see a variety of species; all small animals including avian, pocket pets, reptiles and of course pet chickens. We are the original Fear Free hospital where it all started and proud to be AAHA accredited. All our associates are provided the necessary tools and training to complete all the levels of the fear free training program to become fear free certified professionals. Through the training program you will become part of a team that share the common goal of providing a fear, anxiety, and low stress environment for people and their four-legged family members. As a member of the VCA North Idaho team, you will support the Technician and Doctor teams by creating a positive atmosphere for our clients and patients. Your mission will be to win the confidence of every pet parent\xe2\x80\x94by delivering an outstanding client experience\xe2\x80\x94so we can provide exceptional care. The skills that you will be utilizing include, but are not limited to:

• Scheduling and answering phones
• Checking in and out clients
• Providing excellent customer service
• Taking detailed medical history
• Performing laboratory work and diagnostic imaging.
• Providing compassionate care for our hospitalized animals.
• Maintaining medical records.
• Assisting our wonderful Doctor and Technician staff as needed.
• Maintaining a clean, safe hospital environment.
