ZenClean is hiring! We're looking for a dependable, detail-oriented Cleaner to join our growing team. Our cleaners play a key role in maintaining clean, organized, and welcoming environments across the properties we service. This includes short-term rentals, offices, and common areas.

rather than hourly. Average rates range from

$16-$24 per hour equivalent

, depending on speed and quality.

For example: a 1-bedroom clean that takes approximately 1 hour pays $24.

Responsibilities

Travel to assigned locations and complete cleaning tasks independently. Perform thorough cleaning of assigned areas, including offices, restrooms, kitchens, and common spaces. Dust and wipe down surfaces, furniture, and fixtures to maintain a tidy appearance. Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors to ensure cleanliness and safety. Empty trash receptacles and dispose of waste appropriately. Restock supplies such as paper towels, toilet paper, and cleaning products as needed. Report any maintenance issues or damages to management promptly. Follow ZenClean's protocols to ensure jobs are completed efficiently and meet our quality standards. Respect client spaces and uphold ZenClean's reputation for reliablity and professionalism. Assist with special cleaning projects as required.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a cleaning or janitorial role is preferred but not required. Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow instructions accurately. Good time management skills to complete tasks efficiently within designated timeframes. Demonstrate honesty, integrity, and a hard work ethic. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks that may involve lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods. Familiarity with cleaning products and equipment is a plus. Reliable transportation and a working smart phone. Background checks are required.

Compensation

This is a

piece-rate position,

meaning pay is based on the job completed rather than hourly. Each clean has a set

pay rate

depending on the size and scope of the property. Reliable performance can lead to consistent work and additional opportunities.
