Bausch Advanced Technologies Inc., located in Clinton, Connecticut, is a global leader in the pharmaceutical packaging machinery industry currently has an opening for a Cleanroom Operator in our quickly expanding Bausch Consumables division at our Clinton, CT facility. Bausch Consumables is a medical device manufacturer for empty IV bags and single use fluid pathway kits. As a Cleanroom Operator at Bausch Consumables, you will be a part of a quickly growing team with the opportunity for professional growth as we expand. As a newer start up within an established company, you will have the ability to be trained in multiple areas throughout the division as we will also be looking to expand into a larger facility within the next year or two. This position reports to the Operations Manager of Bausch Consumables. Our division serves many of the large pharmaceutical companies that supply our hospitals with the necessary drugs to combat COVID and other serious illnesses so you and your team will be a part of this important effort. Responsibilities:

• Coordinating and cooperating in a team production environment to ensure products are produced orderly, efficiently, and with the highest quality.
• Operating pharmaceutical machinery and performing minor mechanical interventions
• Checking product for good quality
• Assembling product to specified drawings
• Maintaining neatness, cleanliness and organization in all areas, and looking for safety hazards.
• Keeping accurate records and making sure they are compliant with current regulations.
• Following cleanroom policies to limit the airborne particles and bioburden in the cleanroom environment.
• Follow all standard operating procedures.
• Follow GDPs and GMPs
• Notifying production supervisor of non-conforming product or components, low stock levels, or activities not compliant with company policies.
• Clean all work surfaces in the controlled environment using the approved cleaning solutions, sweeping and mopping where allowed
• Disinfect/sterilize all tools, equipment, containers, and materials used in the clean rooms.
• Disinfect/sterilize clean room environment according to cleaning schedule
• Attend production meetings
• Any other duties as required by Operations Manager
• Ability to sit and stand for long periods of time and perform repetitive motions.

Mechanical skills preferred. Experience working in a clean room environment and/or manufacturing environment preferred but not required.
