We are seeking a dedicated and skilled CLASS A OTR DRIVER (48 states) to join our team. This position involves long-haul driving across various routes, ensuring timely and safe delivery of freight. The ideal candidate will have experience with different types of trailers and a strong commitment to safety and compliance with all regulations.
Duties
Operate a tractor-trailer for long-distance transport of goods.
Drop & Hook
Navigate routes efficiently while adhering to delivery schedules.
Maintain accurate electronic logs of driving hours, mileage, and fuel usage in compliance with DOT regulations.
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and operational efficiency.
Communicate effectively with dispatch regarding route changes, delays, or issues that may arise during transport.
3 weeks out with 1 week home.
Utilize and show proficiency in using various vendors' apps Ex: (Amazon)
Experience
Proven experience in truck driving or commercial driving with a valid Class A CDL. Min 3 years experience. Good driving record no tickets or points in prior 5 years.
Familiarity with route driving and delivery driver experience is preferred.
Knowledge of freight handling procedures and safety protocols is essential.
Ability to speak, read & write English is a must.
Must successfully pass background check & drug test.
Ability to operate different types of trailers including refrigerated units and flatbeds is a plus.
