Prime Services

The ideal candidate will support JP Morgan Prime Finance and provide solutions to alternative investment managers. This product consists of traditional Cash and Synthetic Financing, Stock borrow/loan and core Prime Brokerage products (client reporting, client service and risk management).

This role will predominately support Prime Cash Middle Offices, however there is scope to expand your knowledge on differing line of businesses within Equity Operations - Program Lead.

Global Prime Brokerage meets clients\' needs by offering dynamic solutions and a full spectrum of services across multiple asset classes.

Prime Services Middle Office owns the operational client experience across all Prime clients. They ensure that all aspects of transaction management are completed on time, exceptions are resolved and provide subject matter expertise to the hedge fund clients.

This is an exciting opportunity to join the Equities Operations Transformation Team. The successful candidate will assume responsibility for managing and delivering Prime Cash strategic and business initiatives, focusing on achieving business efficiencies, business growth and increasing capacity for the operational groups. The role is high profile, offering the opportunity to support and manage major, multi-disciplinary and global transformation projects, from Core Platform Enhancements to market and regulatory initiatives. As the team supports cross-LOB, there are also further opportunities to develop and expand skills across other lines of business. Job Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a robust and auditable governance process to ensure accurate and timely delivery of overall project
  • Produce project reporting for Management and Stakeholders
  • Co-ordinate the collation of supporting documentation throughout the Project
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with Stakeholders
  • Co-ordinate the logistics around setting up meetings, creation of agenda\'s, documentation & communication of minutes or follow up actions
  • Drive initiatives forward, provide leadership, direction and focus for business functions and project resources
  • Delivering Executive updates and summaries with e ffective issue escalation management

Required Qualifications, capabilities, & skills:
  • Strong people skills, with ability to build strong working relationships across stakeholders at all levels
  • Self-starter, pro-active, organized, with a keen eye for detail and the ability to work independently
  • Confident and assertive with the ability to push back when necessary
  • Initiative - taking the lead in unstructured situations, including seizing new opportunities
  • Flexible attitude in dealing with multiple tasks with tight time frames and limited supervision
  • Accountability and responsibility for own actions
  • Proficient in MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, SharePoint, Visio

  • Project Management experience
  • Demonstrated success in delivering initiatives on time utilizing strong planning, processing, analytical, organizational and communication skills (verbal and written)
