Your Role:

As our Project Manager, you will be responsible for establishing and assuring adherence to budgets, schedules, work plans and performance requirements. You will regularly interact with senior management or executive levels on matters concerning several divisions or functional areas and work on issues where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth knowledge of organizational objectives.

Your work:

Leads multiple projects and cross-functional teams of resources spread across multiple geographical locations through meetings and progress measurement activity which bring specific projects to completion both on time and within budget

Evaluates the project and establishes a project plan including developing and reviewing the audience list and establishing how much involvement is necessary from other team members. Assesses need for additional staff and make the appropriate recruitments during the project cycle.

Planning:

Defines project strategy and objectives

Develops project timelines and ensures project deliverables are adhered to while taking into consideration associated risks and mitigating them appropriately

Identifies skills and knowledge vital to perform all project activities

Prepares detailed budget estimates, seeks approval for budget estimates and assesses if budget revisions are necessary

Creates a well-organized team and establishes the team\'s operating methods and procedures and ensures that resources are available throughout the project

Prepares work-order agreements for all team members to clarify the level and timing of commitments

Designs communication, decision-making and conflict resolution processes

Establishes framework per project for handling variances

Executing the Project:

Ensures that objectives are accomplished within time and budget targets

Evaluates performance against plans and ensures corrective actions are taken when the performance deviates from the project plan

Exhausts all conceivable strategies and approaches to get the project back on track

Monitors the project plan and, when appropriate, adopts a new baseline and reports out to team on project progress

Conducts efficient meetings to include reviewing performance highlights, details, problems, risks, changes and next steps

Motivates team members by providing constructive feedback and by reiterating the value of achieving the project goal, the attainability of the goals, the progress made by the team and the rewards for reaching the goal

Controlling the Project:

Resolves priority, work approach or interpersonal conflicts

Controls project changes by collecting relevant information, evaluating the performance compared to the plan and shares outcome

Closing the Project:

Ensures that all required approvals from the clients have been obtained

Conducts post-project evaluations

Recognizes projects\' achievements and people\'s contribution

Identifies techniques and approaches that worked or did not work and ensures that they are taken into consideration in future projects

Knowledge of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, MS Project, MS Access, Adobe Acrobat and NT.

Proven ability to work on several projects simultaneously and under tight schedules.

Education & Experience

Bachelor\'s degree in related area or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

5+ years project management principles and methodologies obtained by assisting/coordinating mid-scale projects.

Preferred:

PMP, CAPM or other Certification

Advanced degree in related area

Experience in insurance, financial services or other regulated industries

The national average salary range for this position is $109,080 -121,200. However, we have a location-based compensation structure. Our salary ranges vary and are calculated based on county of residence. The full salary range for this position across all the states we hire in is $98,190-127,400. This role also includes an opportunity for a company-wide annual discretionary bonus, through our Annual Incentive Plan (AIP), of up to 10% of eligible pay.
