The Health Program Manager II position within the Office of Managed Healthcare develops, manages, and coordinates the resources required to deliver Utah CHIP and Medicaid programs for the Division of Integrated Healthcare. This position is responsible for writing contracts, monitoring contract deliverables, and responding to member, provider, and health plan issues. This position reviews, maintains and updates the CHIP and Medicaid State Plans, Utah Rules, and manuals for assigned programs to ensure consistency and accuracy; plans and allocates resources to ensure Department policies and state/federal statues are fully compliant and consistent; provides expert consultation to public and private health care providers; manages assigned programs as directed; and collaborates with other state and county agencies, programs, providers and community-based organizations. This position may supervise subordinate personnel.
Preference may be given to current or previous state employees or those with a bachelors degree or higher.

EffectiveJuly 1, 2021, State of Utah Employees must either reside in Utah or be in the process of relocating to Utah within 30 days of their start date.
