The Survivor Advocacy Outreach Program (SAOP), a growing nonprofit rape crisis/domestic violence program, believes that everyone has a right to a life free of violence. SAOP serves 5 counties in the Southeast Ohio region and is expanding its reach and programs to include crisis intervention, residential services, and social enterprise divisions. As such, SAOP is searching for a Supportive Services & Residential Program Manager to join our team to provide coordination and oversight of all advocacy and intervention direct services, including supervision of all direct service staff.
JOB SUMMARY:
Individual provision of direct services within Athens County; with direct service support for additional five county service area.? Oversight of direct service grant and statistical reporting.? Building community partnerships and work to increase service coordination and access to victim services across Athens, Hocking, Morgan, Perry and Vinton Counties.? Perform duties as defined in the following detailed description of responsibilities and activities.?
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Oversee agency advocacy and intervention direct services; including direct service staff and volunteer supervision and evaluation.
Ensure culturally inclusive programming that is trauma informed and within an anti-oppression framework.
Ensure active agency participation and leadership where appropriate in community planning/initiatives as related to SA, IPV, CSA, FV prevention & direct service intervention (ex: SART teams/sub-committees, ASVPC, Rape Crisis Directors meeting, OAESV/ ODVN membership, etc.)
Plan, develop, oversee, and evaluate advocacy and intervention direct service programming in all five counties; based on needs assessments both agency and/or community
Lead new and developing initiative around expanding services to victims of SA, IPV, stalking and other forms of interpersonal violence/ trauma.
Lead regional initiative to building partnerships and improve access, address gaps, and foster coordination of victims' services. (Ex. oversee annual regional summit/ training, secondary trauma/ self care retreats, regional SART/ advocacy meetings, OAESV Regional Leader, etc)
Develop and monitor measurable advocacy and intervention objectives and outcomes annually (ex: direct service annual strategic planning)
Review and evaluate client records, as needed, for grant reporting, Quality Assurance, and statistical reporting of direct services to Board of Directors
Recruit, hire, supervise, and evaluate primary direct service positions
Provide direct services, as needed for direct service programming, and be on the schedule as administrative on - call, in coordination with direct service staff.
Maintain and/or expand interagency partnerships to increase capacity, efficiency, and quality of services, particularly across the Southeast Ohio region.
Oversee direct service staff assisting with advocacy and intervention direct service program grants; including client records in database systems, completion of monthly, quarterly, semi-annual, and year-end reports, as appropriate and timely.
Maintain current records of outputs, activities, and outcomes (individual and direct service staff oversight)
Assist with coordination and facilitation of direct service volunteer training/ education, as needed.? Provide consultation and training to direct services staff/ volunteers around SA, IPV, FV, CSA and trauma-informed service provision.
Continue professional growth and attend continuing education programs to meet licensing and agency requirements.
Actively participate in task forces and coalitions at the state and local level as applicable/feasible.
Assist grantors with grant review as coordinated with other agency staff.
Serve on committees and task forces as requested by Executive Director.
Perform additional tasks as requested by Executive Director.
QUALIFICATIONS:??
Requirement: Bachelor's degree with a minimum 3-5 years of documented experience in related field
Preferred: Master's degree from an accredited college or university in education, mental health, social work or trauma related field
Minimum LSW or LPC; LISW-S or LPCC preferred
Solid knowledge/experience in the dynamics/best practices around sexual assault, intimate partner violence, stalking, family & child sexual abuse prevention/intervention
Proven ability to develop effective partnerships
Clear knowledge, understanding, and values around anti-oppression, cultural inclusion, and promoting trauma informed principles and care in all areas of the organization.
3-5 years supervisory experience/leading a team
Excellent working knowledge of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and specialized databases
Proven ability to effectively balance and manage multiple tasks/projects simultaneously
Experience in research methods and ability to draw inferences from current research and local statistics, needs assessments.
Demonstrated success and experience in grant writing/grants administration/grant reporting and program development, including supervision of program personnel, both staff and volunteers.
