Summer Camp Teachers & Counselors | Mount Pleasant

The Sunshine House Early Learning Academy is seeking Summer Camp Teachers & Counselors for our two award-winning schools in Mount Pleasant.

Pay range: $14 - $20 per hour, based on experience & education.

Positions Available At:

• Sunshine House of Mount Pleasant at Long Point Road
• Sunshine House of Mount Pleasant at Park West (Turgot Lane)

Summer Camp Teacher Responsibilities:
Summer camp staff supervise young campers and make sure they learn and have fun, while staying safe.

• Plan outdoor activities or sports for groups of campers.
• Lead recreational and educational activities, such as swimming or crafting.
• Educate campers through games and explorations.
• Make sure all safety rules are followed.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• At least 6 months of experience working in licensed childcare.
• Coursework in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred.
• Energetic and positive personality.
