Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Child Care Director to oversee our educational programs and ensure a nurturing environment for children. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in education administration and experience working with students, along with higher education teaching experience. This role requires excellent leadership skills and a commitment to fostering a positive learning atmosphere.

Duties

Develop and implement educational programs that meet the needs of children and align with state regulations. Supervise and support teaching staff, providing guidance and professional development opportunities. Ensure compliance with health, safety, and licensing standards. Collaborate with parents and guardians to promote children's development and address any concerns. Manage daily operations of the child care facility, including budgeting, staffing, and scheduling. Evaluate program effectiveness through assessments and feedback from staff, parents, and students. Foster a positive community environment that encourages family involvement in the educational process.

Requirements

Degree in Early Childhood Education, Education Administration, or a related field; advanced degrees preferred. Alignment with program mission statement and values. Strong understanding of child development principles and best practices in early childhood education. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to work collaboratively with diverse groups of people. Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively. Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
