Job Summary

The Child Care Center Director is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the center, ensuring a safe, nurturing, and educational environment for children. This role involves managing staff, developing educational programs, and maintaining compliance with state regulations. The Director will work closely with parents and the community to foster a supportive atmosphere that promotes child development and learning.

Responsibilities

Lead and manage all aspects of the child care center, including staff supervision, program development, and regulatory compliance. Develop and implement educational programs that meet the developmental needs of children. Ensure a safe and healthy environment by adhering to health and safety regulations. Recruit, train, and evaluate staff to maintain high standards of care and education. Collaborate with parents and guardians to support children's learning and development. Maintain accurate records of children's progress and center operations. Manage budgets and resources effectively to ensure the sustainability of the center. Foster positive relationships with the community to promote the center's mission.

Skills

Higher education teaching experience is preferred to enhance program quality. Strong ability to educate both children and staff in developmental practices. Experience working with students in an educational setting is essential. Background in education administration to effectively manage operations and compliance. Excellent communication skills for interaction with parents, staff, and the community. Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently. A passion for early childhood education and a commitment to fostering a positive learning environment.

Pay: $47,500.00 - $52,500.00 per year
