Job Description


Our client, a leading provider of agricultural products, services, and solutions, is seeking a Chemical Production Engineer to join their team. This person will be responsible for overseeing the research, development, design, application and testing of a wide range of machinery and systems. They will implement and execute project plans through design, installation, testing and implementation. This is a direct hire opportunity!

Job Title: Chemical Production Engineer
Location: Aurora, NC (relocation assistance available)
Pay: $120,000 - $150,000

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide technical guidance to research and/or develop systems, products, or processes for a variety of assigned projects
  • Maintain accurate records of all development projects.
  • Apply scientific and engineering principles for research and continuous improvement programs involving product development, processing, manufacturing technology, quality control, and bulk transportation
  • Manage projects and maintain constant communication with cross-functional groups
  • Work with Quality Assurance to ensure all product documentation is written, stored, and approved for commercial manufacture; includes raw material requirements, product guaranteed specifications and Certificate of Analysis, SOP/method validations, etc.
Requirements
  • Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering is required.
  • 3-8 years of experience in chemical processing.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft programs (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint).
  • Comprehensive knowledge and practical experience in product/process development, laboratory techniques, pilot plant equipment operations and identification of opportunities for improvements.
  • Knowledge of chemical process safety and environmental policies is required
