Portneuf Medical Center is a nationally recognized healthcare leader with 205 beds, serving as the region's tertiary care and Level II Trauma Center, housing the Portneuf Heart and Vascular Institute, Portneuf Cancer Center, Portneuf Medical Group, and Portneuf Air Rescue.

Responsibilities:
Under the direction of the department Director, the Infusion Therapy Charge Nurse acts as a member of the Infusion Therapy/Vascular Access Department Leadership Team. The IVT Charge Nurse serves in a leadership role to aid in the management and training of staff Assist with the organization of day-to-day activities of the department Assuring that the staff are functioning appropriately and within the scope of their job role Utilizing coaching methods or disciplinary action when necessary to meet the care and safety needs of those that we serve Assists with patient care issues, referring any unusual situation or patient condition to the Director or Medical Director Promoting consistency in the delivery of patient care between physicians and staff Additional responsibilities include administrative duties such as project improvement projects, staff meetings, staff schedule creation, P&P reviews, as well as assisting with quality reviews and metrics. These duties will be in addition to regular floor shifts.
Qualifications:

Job Requirements:
Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of Idaho. 3-5 years Infusion Therapy Experience Current BLS certification- must be obtained within 14 days of hire
Preferred Job Requirements:* VA-BC and/or CRNI certifications
