The Opportunity

Delaware North Sportservice is hiring seasonal Catering Attendants to join our team at Target Field in Minneapolis, Minnesota. As a Catering Attendant, you will provide outstanding customer service while serving food and beverage products in a banquet setting, ensuring that Target Field guests\' needs are being met in a positive, efficient, and courteous manner. The ideal Banquet Server candidate will be friendly, positive, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Please note this is a tipped position, the hourly minimum pay listed doesn\xe2\x80\x99t include any potential tipped earnings.

Responsibilities

• Sets up tables for function in accordance with banquet event order.
• Accurately transports food and beverages to guests in a timely manner.
• Performs necessary tasks to service guests including: taking and filling drink orders, providing refills, answering questions, and clearing of dirty dishes.
• Serves alcoholic beverages responsibly, requests identification, adheres to all unit and company alcohol service policies and procedures.
• Monitors guest needs on a continual basis ensuring all requests are promptly fulfilled; handles any guest complaints.
• Replenishes food on buffet lines (if applicable).
• Maintains a safe and clean environment for guests and fellow associates.
• Breaks down event according to company procedures.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 or older.
• Minimum of 3 months\' previous experience in food and beverage service preferred.
• Excellent guest service skills.
• Ability to work quickly and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication skills, including listening skills and ability to take food and beverage orders and fill those orders correctly.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand or walk, including up and down stairs, for entire length of shift.
• Ability to lift up to 35 pounds.
• Mobility to maneuver between tables.
