Job Overview

We are seeking a friendly and efficient Cashier for the day shift at Chubby's Cafe in St. George. The ideal candidate will have a passion for customer service and ability to handle transactions accurately. As a Cashier, you will be the face of our store, ensuring that customers have a pleasant experience while managing the checkout process effectively. You will also assist in other duties including: Running food to customer, cleaning dining room and other customer areas. We have flexible day shift openings. I dal opportunity for moms with kids in school, college students etc.

Responsibilities

Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system to process customer transactions accurately and efficiently. Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers, answering questions, and assisting with the menu. Handle cash transactions and maintain accurate cash handling procedures. Upsell products and promote special offers to enhance sales opportunities. Assist in stocking, merchandising and preparing stations. Assist in keeping the dining room and other customer areas clean and tidy. Become familiar with the menu to offer the best customer service possible. We will train you so experience is not necessary.

Requirements

Desire to work with great team mates to deliver excellent customer service in a fun, fast paced environement. Familiarity with POS systems and retail math for accurate transaction processing.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $12.50 - $15.50 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 40 per week
