We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Cashier / Customer Service Associate / Stocker to join our team in a fast-paced grocery store environment. This multifaceted role involves providing exceptional customer service, handling transactions efficiently, and ensuring that products are well-stocked and displayed. Responsibilities

Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system to process customer transactions accurately and efficiently. Provide outstanding customer service by assisting customers with inquiries, product information, and resolving any issues. Engage in upselling techniques to enhance the customer shopping experience and increase sales. Perform merchandising duties, including product displays, signage, and promotional setups to attract customers. Assist in stocking shelves and maintaining inventory levels to ensure product availability. Conduct product demonstrations to educate customers on new items or promotions. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the checkout area and store environment. Exhibit excellent phone etiquette when handling customer calls or inquiries. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations and a positive work atmosphere.

Experience

Previous experience in retail sales or grocery store environments is preferred. Familiarity with cashiering duties, including cash handling and basic math skills for accurate transaction processing. Supervising experience is a plus, demonstrating leadership capabilities within a retail setting. Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply as communication with diverse customers is essential. Knowledge of retail math concepts is beneficial for inventory management and sales tracking. Strong communication skills are required to effectively interact with customers and team members alike.
