Capacity Requirements:
Mental Capacity: Skills, learned abilities, training, experience, and knowledge.
Uses proper Flo's telephone etiquette to answer and direct calls.
Demonstrate proper Flo's order taking techniques, including asking for all required guest information.
Responsible for taking guests order in person or by phone in a friendly & courteous manner.
Has complete knowledge on the menu and all takeout specials.
Handle point of sale system quickly & efficiently from ringing in orders to accepting payments.
Uphold strict cash handling procedures and be accountable for all transactions daily.
Ensure 100% compliance with all company policies and laws, including health and safety standards.
The employee must have basic computer knowledge.
Able to excel in a guest and team-oriented environment
Physical Capacity: Stamina, physical demands, energy, and tenacity.
Opens and/or closes the takeout area properly by following all checklists provided.
Properly executes all prep & portion lists for the day.
Able to package & organize all takeout orders correctly according to Flo's guidelines.
Package all takeout orders correctly ensuring that hot food is packed with hot food and cold food is packed with cold food. While also checking order accuracy.
Maintain personal health and sanitation standards.
Maintain a clean uniform and understands that he/she is always on stage.
Be able to reach, bend, stoop and frequently lift up to 40 pounds.
Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time.
Must have the ability to work in a fast paced and hot environment.
Must have regular, reliable & dependable transportation & attendance.
Emotional Capacity: How you relate to others.
Able to respond to guest complaints by getting the appropriate management to handle the situation.
The employee must be clean cut & outgoing.
The employee must have the ability to take direction in a positive manner.
Effective English communication skills, both verbal & written to clearly communicate with managers, kitchen & serving staff.
Time Capacity: Available time + self-discipline to use time effectively.
Must have open availability, including holidays & weekends.
