The Career Counselor works collaboratively with students, faculty, and staff to support career exploration, experiential learning, and employment readiness. The Counselor provides individualized guidance, innovative programming, and resources to empower students in identifying strengths, developing professional skills, and pursuing meaningful career pathways. This role requires a hard-working professional with a strong work ethic who is deeply dedicated to student success and aligned with the innovative mission of Landmark College. This position can be structured as either a 10 or 12 month role, offering flexibility in scheduling
RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide one-on-one career counseling and coaching to students.
Design and deliver workshops, presentations, and events on career-related topics.
Build partnerships with employers to create internship and employment opportunities.
Collaborate with faculty and staff to integrate career development across the curriculum.
Maintain accurate records, data, and assessment tools to measure student progress.
Support and contribute to the overall goals of the Career Connections Department.
QUALIFICATIONS
Master's degree in counseling, higher education, or related field preferred.
Experience in career counseling, advising, or workforce development.
Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
Commitment to diversity, equity, inclusion, and the success of neurodiverse learners.
