What you'll do
Design and decorate cakes for various occasions, ensuring each piece is a masterpiece.
Prepare and package finished products for display and sale, maintaining high standards of presentation.
Collaborate with the kitchen team on food production and preparation to ensure timely delivery of orders.
Utilize your pastry experience to create unique cake flavors and textures that delight our customers.
Provide outstanding customer service by assisting clients with their cake selections and custom orders.
Maintain food safety standards in all aspects of food handling and preparation.
Demonstrate excellent knife skills while working with various baking tools and equipment.
Contribute to a positive kitchen environment by sharing your culinary knowledge and supporting fellow team members.
Experience
Proven experience in cake decorating, showcasing a portfolio of your work.
Background in food production or preparation within the food industry, preferably in a bakery or restaurant setting.
Strong culinary experience with an understanding of baking techniques and pastry arts.
Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with clients.
Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices in food handling.
Previous catering experience is a plus, as well as any relevant certifications in culinary arts.
