Job Description


Oversee the accurate and efficient operation of Player Services and Cage activities while providing excellent guest service. *NATIVE PREFERRED* ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Includes the following: \xc2\xb7 Supervises and directs the work of staff which includes setting work priorities; scheduling and approving work assignments, timecards, leave requests and shift changes; evaluating, orienting, counseling, and training staff members. \xc2\xb7 Completes job appraisals, corrective actions, variance research and attendance tracking for department. \xc2\xb7 Ensures compliance with all tribal, federal, state and local laws, regulations and ordinances, as well as Company and departmental policies, practices and procedures. \xc2\xb7 Identifies, develops and implements process efficiencies. \xc2\xb7 Creatively resolves or rectifies guest and employee disputes and complaints within scope of authority, escalating anything outside of scope of authority to proper management. \xc2\xb7 Implements and oversees rewards program. \xc2\xb7 Maintains positive relationships with management, staff and guests. \xc2\xb7 Ensures the department meets customer service standards consistently. \xc2\xb7 Compiles and analyzes daily, weekly, and monthly reports and/or paperwork. \xc2\xb7 Oversees ATM and kiosk cash levels and balances as necessary, completes closeout processes for staff, verifies cash deposits and conducts promotional drawings. \xc2\xb7 Verifies funds at the beginning/end of each shift before accepting/dropping funds. \xc2\xb7 Ensures currency transaction information is provided to applicable departments for completion of reports. \xc2\xb7 Writes checks and ensures distribution of required paperwork for winnings over set thresholds. \xc2\xb7 Coordinates and audits operational and promotional inventory. \xc2\xb7 Ensures integrity and confidentiality of casino and guest information. \xc2\xb7 Performs other job-related duties as assigned. SUPERVISORY/MANAGEMENT AUTHORITY Supervise/manage a department and provide input towards hiring/firing/performance decisions. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) and 1-3 years of cash handling and/or customer service experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Supervisory experience preferred. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES \xc2\xb7 Advance knowledge and understanding of accounting, gaming, and regulatory requirements related to Casino Services operations including Title 31. \xc2\xb7 Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with all levels of the organization and to develop and maintain working relationships with management. \xc2\xb7 Ability to lead, mentor and advise large teams. \xc2\xb7 Ability to deliver a service level which creates an atmosphere that makes our guests want return, providing each guest a positive, memorable entertainment experience. \xc2\xb7 Knowledge of principles and processes for providing excellent guest service. \xc2\xb7 Ability to make sound decisions when involving guest service. \xc2\xb7 Excellent written and verbal communication, presentation, and computer skills including knowledge of all Microsoft Office products. \xc2\xb7 Ability to prioritize work and successfully meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. \xc2\xb7 Well-developed money handling skills with demonstrated ability to maintain order and accuracy. \xc2\xb7 Advanced analytical and organizational skills. \xc2\xb7 Must have, and maintain, a valid driver\xe2\x80\x99s license. \xc2\xb7 Ability to obtain and maintain licensing by the appropriate gaming authority. WORK ENVIRONMENT Work will be performed in a variety of settings, including climate-controlled office settings and casino floors which includes exposure to second-hand smoke and crowd noise. Work will require varied shifts including, weekend and holidays, as needed. Work requires standing, sitting, or walking for prolonged periods of time and lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling objects up to 50 lbs. Job Type: Full-time Pay: From $38,000.00 per year Benefits:
