Adler Pelzer Group - a growing global Tier 1 supplier of Acoustic and Thermal Soft Trim products to the automotive industry is seeking for a strong listener and passionate leader to join the team as the Business Unit (BU) Industrial Engineering Manager at the North American HQ offices in Troy, Michigan, located 25 miles north of Detroit. Relocation is available for the right candidate.
The BU Industrial Engineering Manager is a new position created to enhance the management of Industrial Engineering at a Business Unit Level in the USA.
Responsibilities of the BU Industrial Engineering Manager:

• Define processes and machines across the manufacturing facilities in the US
• Create the cost of utilities and installations
• Perform machine and labor load calculations
• Create Spaghetti Chart and Yamazumi
• Define Equipment and investments for Industrialization
• Required travel up to 50% of the time within the USA to visit the manufacturing plants (4 in Michigan, 1-Toledo, OH, 1-Athens, TN, 1-Eudora, KS, 1-Thomson, GA)

• 5 to 7 years of Industrial Engineering experience, with 2-3 years in a Management role
• Engineering degree, Mechanical or Industrial Engineering preferred
• Experience as costs associate to launch new plants, product lines, and processes and Plant Readiness
• Understanding the reporting of the evolution of capex
• Experience managing the capex budget
• Ability to work with Excel spreadsheets and presentations in order to own this material
• Experience developing new equipment suppliers. Track/sign off equipment experience is a plus

• Salary range is $120,000.00 \xe2\x80\x93 $150,000.00 per year. Specific salary is commensurate with experience and factors such as relevant experience, education, certifications and licenses, skills, and training.
