POSITION SUMMARY

This position is responsible for leading initiatives supporting the Accredo Specialty fulfillment pharmacies. This position utilizes technical and operational aptitude and experience to provide business support to Accredo Operations to ensure satisfaction with technology products, systems and services in alignment with objectives. Oversees various cross-functional technology project requests within the Business Product Operations organization. Assist with ensuring project requirements, and the development and execution of approved initiatives are delivered to optimize the value proposition of the department. Manages deadlines and overall success of projects from beginning to end.

This position can be based onsite at any Accredo Specialty Pharmacy location.

Primary Functions

  • Provide business direction and project management for cross-functional, operational, strategic and/or tactical initiatives.
  • Coordinate cross-functional team member\xe2\x80\x99s activities to ensure that designated projects and relevant tasks are completed on time to support the project team\xe2\x80\x99s efforts
  • Identify cross-functional business team members based on project request. Gather and analyze data, develop queries, document requirements, track action items via a project plan, and provide status reports. Ensure proper processes are met and documented by responsible team and business lead.
  • Responsible for timely completion of projects and communicating with leadership on roadblocks and changing priorities.
  • Responsible for delivery and success of assigned projects. Optimizes results within business and time constraints. Partner with cross-functional project team to assess status, support escalated issues, as they arise and drive resolution.
  • Assist in the establishment of the strategic direction while acting as liaison between business and technology to execute initiatives, resolve issues, monitor results and provide status update.
  • Accountable for completing financial analysis with resource management partner and tracking savings/benefit results with leadership.
  • Facilitate delivery of small technology projects [on behalf of Member Services Operations] and assist others in gathering and documenting requirements for large/complex technology initiatives.
  • Special projects as assigned
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED. Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree preferred
  • 4+ years relevant experience; i.e., project management, continuous improvement, business analysis
  • Experience in Accredo Specialty Pharmacy Operations and/or Front End environment preferred
  • Knowledge of Express Scripts Home Delivery systems and processes preferred
  • Financial forecasting and project justification experience preferred
  • Knowledge applying lean, Six Sigma or related methodology preferred
  • Experience working in an agile environment preferred
  • PC skills including knowledge of Microsoft Office and proficiency in Excel
  • Ability to handle analysis from issue identification to proposal of potential solutions
  • Strong business and organizational skills
  • Demonstrated initiative with commitment and ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Excellent customer service, technical, analytical, presentation skills and communication skills required.
  • Ability to effectively operate within a fast pace, dynamic organization
  • Ability to influence and build strong relationship across the organization
  • Proven ability to work in a team environment
