Job Description

The Center at Lowry is seeking a Business Office Manger for our skilled nursing and rehabilitation center. You will work with a dynamic team providing sub-acute inpatient therapy to a variety of individuals with medical conditions including orthopedic, neurological, cardiopulmonary, and complex medical conditions. Our Center strives to provide top quality nursing and rehabilitation services to our patients and we are looking for a dedicated Business Office Manaer with these same goals to join our interdisciplinary team

Job Summary:

The Business Office Manager is primarily responsible for the entry and verification of all payment-related information, including but not limited to patient information, insurance information, accounts payable, and deposits.

Job Responsibilities:



Verifies all patient information including name, DOB, and primary/secondary insurance details upon patient's admission to the facility. Completes all Financial Agreements with patients and their families within two business days of admission to the facility. Manages private collections of copays and other payments due. Ensures statements and documentation of collection attempts are accurate and kept up-to-date. Participates in monthly Triple Check meetings to ensure all required documents are completed and properly uploaded. Completes Accounts Payable on a daily basis. Completes all deposits and credit card payments on a daily basis. Assists with covering lunches/breaks/absences at the Front Desk as needed. Acts as the go-to contact for all patients with questions about their insurance benefits. Consults with Corporate Business Office on questions/inquiries as needed.

Education & Experience



Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent. 1 year minimum experience in administrative healthcare/billing functions strongly preferred.

Specific Requirements



Candidate must possess excellent customer service and communication skills (verbal & written). Candidate must have a high level of patience and tact. Must be acutely detail-oriented and organized. Must be able to work independently with limited direction.

Must be able to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen.





Education:

High school or equivalent (Preferred)

Experience:

billing/accounting: 1 year (Preferred) administrative healthcare: 1 year (Preferred)
