Harbor Centers Inc. Business Manager and Publisher Harbor Centers is a Duluth-based 501(c)3 nonprofit with the purpose of encouraging seniors to be as active and healthy as possible for as long as possible, and to connect seniors with resources when they need them. It publishes The Senior Reporter magazine and seven county senior and caregiver guides. Harbor Centers is seeking a combination business manager and publisher. The business manager role works with the board of directors to coordinate the work of the nonprofit. This role includes monitoring and reporting the financial condition of the nonprofit to the board of directors. This position does advertising sales and grant writing to fund the nonprofit. It includes working with the Magazine Manager CRM to keep all advertising contracts up-to-date. The position coordinates the advertisements for each publication. The position is responsible for all nonprofit and tax filings. The position works with an accounting contractor to assure all financial records are up-to-date and accurate. The position coordinates the distribution of all publications in the eight-county area. The publisher role acts as editor of The Senior Reporter bi-monthly magazine. This includes coordinating a feature story with photography, and a group of writers who contribute to each issue. It includes coordinating the advertisements and magazine content with a designer and the printer. The role also coordinates with a senior-serving nonprofit in each county to update and distribute each of seven annual senior and caregiver guides. This includes coordinating the advertisements and content with a designer and the printer. Job Type: Full-time Pay: From $40,000.00 per year Schedule:
