Position Overview:




Children's Home Society of South Dakota is seeking a Business Intelligence Analyst who will support organizational decision-making by developing, maintaining, and enhancing Power BI dashboards and reports that provide timely insight into financial and operational performance. $66,996.80- $83,740.80/annually (Depending on Experience/Education)

What You'll Do:



Business Intelligence & Reporting



Develop, maintain, and enhance Power BI dashboards and standardized reports used by leadership and departments.

Financial & Operational Analysis



Analyze financial and operational data to identify trends, variances, risks, and improvement opportunities. Support budgeting, forecasting, and month-end close through dashboard reporting and data visualization.

Data Governance & Quality Assurance



Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and consistency across reporting tools and data sources. Investigate data discrepancies and work with departments to implement corrective actions.

Cross-Functional Collaboration & Enablement



Collaborate across departments to define KPIs, reporting needs, and data requirements. Provide user training, documentation, and support to promote effective dashboard usage and data literacy.

Systems Integration & Continuous Improvement



Work with IT to enhance data integrations and governance across systems. Participate in strategic initiatives involving technology integration, workflow improvements, or new data systems.

Requirements:

Qualifications:



Education:



Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Data Analytics, Business Intelligence, or a related field required.

Experience:



1-5 years experience in business intelligence, data analytics, or financial analysis required. * Power BI development experience required
