THE OPPORTUNITY
Fay-Ark Lawn Co. is becoming Arkansas' largest commercial maintenance company, and we need an exceptional Business Development Representative to accelerate our growth. Since 2018, we've expanded from a 5th-generation family farm to Northwest Arkansas' fastest-growing landscaping company, serving hundreds of commercial and residential properties.
This is a career-defining role for a sales professional ready to own a high-growth territory. You'll build the commercial pipeline for a company that's rewriting the playbook on landscape maintenance through cutting-edge technology, relentless customer focus, and a culture rooted in integrity. In 12 months, you'll have closed substantial new contracts, established yourself as NWA's go-to expert for commercial property services, and positioned yourself for rapid advancement.

WHAT YOU'LL DO
Drive New Revenue
You'll prospect and close new commercial contracts across multifamily, medical, retail, warehouse, and commercial real estate properties. Through cold outreach, networking, and strategic partnerships, you'll build relationships with property managers, facility directors, and business owners who need year-round maintenance, snow removal, irrigation, drainage, and enhancement services. You'll conduct site walks, deliver consultative proposals that demonstrate long-term value, and close deals at healthy margins.
Grow Client Relationships
Working alongside Account Managers and Maintenance Managers, you'll ensure seamless onboarding, drive enhancement opportunities within new accounts, and contribute to industry-leading renewal rates. You'll be the client advocate during their critical first 90 days, setting the foundation for long-term partnerships.
Master the Systems
You'll leverage Aspire CRM for pipeline management, PropertyIntel for market intelligence, and CompanyCam for site documentation. Weekly forecasts and activity reports keep you sharp and accountable. Your pipeline discipline directly translates to predictable revenue growth and bigger commission checks.
WHO THRIVES HERE
Your Background:
You bring 2-4 years of B2B sales experience, ideally in landscaping, commercial services, facilities management, construction, or property services. You've consistently met or exceeded six-figure quotas and know how to navigate complex sales with multiple stakeholders. You're comfortable selling substantial contracts and have the discipline to prospect daily, follow up systematically, and close consistently.
Your Strengths:
You build genuine relationships that last beyond the signature. You're organized, technologically savvy, and thrive on data-driven decision making. Rejection doesn't slow you down--it sharpens your approach. You're coachable, seeking feedback to continuously improve your craft. Most importantly, you operate with high integrity because your reputation is everything.
Bonus Experience:
A network in NWA's commercial real estate or property management community accelerates your success. Green industry knowledge helps, though we'll train the right person. Experience with multi-site commercial accounts or facility management is valuable. A business or marketing degree signals strong fundamentals.

COMPENSATION & GROWTH
Earnings:
Base salary: $45,000-$54,000/year (based on experience)
Commission: 3-5% on all new contracts, paid monthly over 12 months
Accelerators for exceeding targets
Renewal commissions on multi-year contracts
Performance bonuses for high-margin deals
No cap on earnings--top performers earn $80K-$120K+ total compensation
