Job Description

Role Summary:




Grow DualTemp Clauger's industrial refrigeration business by identifying new customer opportunities, expanding existing relationships, and supporting technical & industrial proposals for ammonia refrigeration and related projects.


Prospect new and existing accounts in assigned territory (manufacturing, cold storage, food processing, etc.). Cold-calling and warm lead follow-ups nurturing and maintaining consistent touchpoints. Build relationships with facility managers, plant engineers, and procurement contacts. Present and propose technical refrigeration/engineering solutions. Coordinate with engineering, estimating, and operations teams to prepare proposals, cost estimates, and quotations. Track sales pipeline, submit regular reports, forecast revenue. Participate in industry trade shows, conferences, and networking events. Maintain awareness of industry trends, codes/regulations (e.g. ammonia safety, refrigeration standards). Maintain and update CRM with accurate information on leads and opportunities.

Daily/Weekly Activities:




Make 60-80 outbound calls/emails per week to targeted prospects. Research new accounts and contacts via LinkedIn, industry databases, and ZoomInfo. Qualify 5-10 new opportunities weekly. Complete 3-4 in person introductory meeting. Follow up on proposals, quotes, and warm leads. Participate in weekly sales meetings to review pipeline progress.





Success Metrics (KPIs):




Number of qualified leads created. Number of proposals/quotations submitted. Revenue booked from new and existing clients. Conversion rate of leads to opportunities. Territory growth.

Desired Qualifications:




2-5 years in industrial refrigeration, mechanical systems, HVAC/R or related technical B2B sales. Technical fluency (can understand refrigeration engineering, speak credibly with technical folks). Strong communication, negotiation and relationship-building skills. Self-motivated, organized; ability to manage multiple leads/opportunities. Comfortable working cross-functionally (sales + engineering + service). Valid driver's license; travel to customers as needed. (90% of Customer within Chicagoland area)
