Overview:
IronConnect is seeking Business Development Manager candidates to lead Sales teams toward achieving revenue targets. In this role, the successful candidate will be responsible for leading Sales growth, managing the Sales team, and owning the revenue number for a territory. Will lead teams of Inventory Consultants and Customer Success Managers to achieve revenue goals while also mentoring and developing overall Sales skills for career growth. This individual will develop a strong understanding of company product, suggest improvements, and educate partners on company capabilities. The ideal candidate has strong B2B Sales knowledge, relationships and experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Act as a player/coach to attain revenue and profitability targets as set by the organization.
  • Lead Sales teams in the acquisition of new customers and the retention of existing customers in your assigned territory.
  • Strengthen current client relationships to increase client loyalty, ensure growth of existing business as well as secure new sales opportunities.
  • Establish performance metrics and utilize reporting tools to monitor the results of direct reports while providing concise forecasting and reporting.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to recommend new product offerings and align projections with sales activities to maximize business performance, company profitability, client satisfaction and customer loyalty.
  • Negotiate contract terms, manage deals to a successful closing, and ensure a smooth transition to the Customer Success team.
  • Recruit, lead, coach and mentor a rapidly growing sales team by delegating responsibility, empowering decision making, and fostering collaborative communications.
  • Be a strong leader within the business, working co-functionally with wider teams and continuously working towards company goals
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree, MBA or equivalent is preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of Sales experience with 1+ years hands-on sales management experience in a high growth environment, preferably B2B environment.
  • Expertise in sales strategy planning and execution, sales operations, business planning, and sales support management.
  • Experience building, scaling and leading sales teams.
  • Deep network and prior experience working with large partners in industries and verticals would be a plus.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills with a broad knowledge of Sales management practices.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with a wide range of audiences including clients, front-line managers, company leadership and Board of Directors.
  • Provide valuable of input into internal product and sales thinking, knowledge and sale motions
  • Decisiveness when necessary, coupled with a willingness to seek input and build consensus as much as possible.
