About the role

  • Nurturing and adding to the existing portfolio of Life Sciences clients through strong rapport building via cold calls and proactive outbound pitches
  • Primarily maintaining the strong existing client relationships with regular engagement and communication
  • As a secondary priority, growing the accounts by approaching new stakeholders with a bold approach, pitching new business opportunities and owning the entire process
  • Identifying buying points, pitching qualified leads and booking a targeted number of meetings per quarter, keeping in mind the goal of increasing revenue
  • You will work closely with our Life Science Business Development Director to build a scalable and profitable commercial strategy through offering recommendations of ways to generate leads and identifying new sales avenues, backed up by experience as well as bringing evidence-based insights and ideas for future growth
  • You will support our Life Science Operations team by working on commercial campaigns and commercial outcomes to RFQs (response for quotes) through close contact with the senior Life Science stakeholders
Job requirements
  • Highly desirable: Bachelor\'s degree in a science field (or similar)
  • If you have studied science subject: A minimum of 2 years\' sales experience, ideally with a Pharmaceutical Service provider
  • If you have not studied a science subject: A minimum of 3 years\' sales experience, which must have been with a Pharmaceutical Services provider or within the field of Life Sciences
  • Natural drive and determination to succeed
  • Resilience, competitive spirit and ability to self-manage and motivate
  • Process-driven individual with a desire to learn and progress
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
