Description

The primary responsibilities of this position are to oversee and be responsible for the overall direction, standards, and performance of the enterprise business analysts. Additionally, the role requires management of the fiscal activities of business analysts to support the overall goals and objectives of the organization through project work and requirements development. What you\xe2\x80\x99ll do:
  • Manage projects to ensure that they are developed according to company and industry best practices \xe2\x80\x93 delivered on time and with the highest levels of quality.
  • Drive projects toward identified milestone and final delivery dates \xe2\x80\x93 ensuring that the SHAZAM Project Lifecycle is followed, that proper documentation is generated and that the resources utilize proper processes.
  • Establish and maintain best practices for eliciting, writing, communicating, and ensuring adherence to business requirements.
  • Collaborate with product management during the Scoping phase of projects to assist in the planning and development of Stakeholder requirements (high level, detailed if needed).
  • Provide support and guidance, as needed, to BAs to elicit system requirements from sponsors, users, stakeholders and subject-matter experts.
  • Review milestone deliverables from business analysts and ensure they are met, or have necessary discussions to reestablish date.
  • Provide business analyst schedule, availability, and capacity planning for project execution. Ensure team members capacity is within the organization\xe2\x80\x99s expectations.
  • Document functional and non-functional requirements for enhancements to existing business processes and financial products, as well for development of new products.
  • Represent business, customer and departmental interests in cross-functional meetings and projects during project execution.
  • Ensure adequate development goals and training for department staff.
  • Participate in collaboration between business units to create workflows and use-cases.
  • Monitor budget for assigned area(s).
What we\xe2\x80\x99re looking for:
  • Bachelor\'s Degree in a business field or equivalent experience preferred.
  • BA certification from professional bodies such as IIBA is beneficial but not essential.
  • Minimum of 3 years of business analysis or product management or 2 years of technical writing, preferably in electronic financial services.
  • Experience in managing staff schedules and workloads.
  • Experience of eliciting business requirements is essential to this position.
  • Data/information management, research, and analytical skills.
  • Strong written, verbal, and presentation communication skills.
  • Basic MS Office skills \xe2\x80\x93 MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint in particular.
Annual salary starting at $86,200 to 107,700*
  • Actual compensation will be based upon factors such as geographic location, experience, education, and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer.
