The Building Monitor / Facilities Support staff member is responsible for ensuring the safety, order, and smooth daily operations of the facility. This role involves actively monitoring clients, preventing loitering outside the building, redirecting individuals back into the program when necessary, and supporting general facility maintenance and operational needs. Key Responsibilities Client Monitoring & Safety- Monitor client activity throughout the day to ensure a safe and orderly environment.- Ensure clients do not loiter, congregate, or remain outside the building during program hours.- Politely redirect clients back into the building as needed.- Report safety concerns or incidents to supervisory staff.- Assist in enforcing facility policies. Facilities Support & Maintenance- Assist with basic building maintenance tasks such as light cleaning and routine upkeep.- Identify and report maintenance concerns promptly.- Support setup and breakdown of rooms.- Maintain cleanliness in common areas, hallways, restrooms, and entrances.- Assist with monitoring building systems and communicate issues as needed. General Operational Support- Provide support with building-related tasks as requested by management.- Assist with deliveries, vendor coordination, and facility access.- Help ensure the facility remains compliant with safety and regulatory standards.- Perform additional duties as assigned.
