Position:

Building Maintenance Technician I (Entry-level)


Status:

Full-time


Salary:

$18-$20/hr


Hours:

8 am - 5 pm, Monday - Friday





About this role:




This position serves to support the Maintenance Department in maintaining and repairing physical structures and maintaining grounds by performing the following duties.


This position is classified as safety-sensitive and requires drug testing."*




What you'll do:




Perform daily rounds of building exteriors and dumpster areas to pick up trash and clean as needed Perform power washing of building exteriors and dumpster areas weekly in summer. Snow removal in winter Assist with monitoring waste and recycling programs; move bins for pick-up and power-wash areas Utilize scissor lift for painting, cleaning, and changing light bulbs (lift operation certification obtained with training by the company) Assist with facility stairwell checks and cleaning Assist Marketing Department with set-up and take-down of holiday and seasonal decor and promotional materials Actively participate in weekly maintenance meetings Be knowledgeable about and promote environmental safety for yourself and others Perform all duties within required safety standards Other duties as assigned

What you'll contribute to our team:




High School Diploma or equivalent Basic knowledge of hand tools, power tools, and other maintenance equipment No experience required, mechanical aptitude a plus Ability to lift and move items frequently, up to 50 pounds Ability to work independently with minor supervision Works well with others and is a team player Ability to work weekends and holidays as needed Ability to work in inclement weather (i.e., rain, snow, cold, heat, etc.)
