Responsibilities

Greet guests warmly as they arrive for breakfast & lunch service, providing a friendly and professional first impression Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS/tablet based system ensuring clear communication with kitchen staff Serve breakfast & lunch items efficiently while maintaining high standards of food safety, sanitation, and presentation Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities Manage guest relations by addressing questions, accommodating special requests, and ensuring overall satisfaction Clear tables promptly, bussing dishes and resetting tables for new guests to maintain a smooth flow of service Assist with food handling, preparation support, and maintaining cleanliness in dining areas to meet sanitation standards

Qualifications

Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments, especially breakfast settings, is highly preferred Familiarity with POS systems Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and professionally Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours Knowledge of food safety protocols, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures Ability to perform basic math for cash handling and cashiering responsibilities accurately Kitchen experience or culinary background is advantageous but not required; Demonstrated teamwork skills in fast-paced environments
