Position overview

We are looking for a dedicated and reliable Bread Scaler to join our commercial bakery team. This position is critical in maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in the facility, ensuring a safe, healthy, and productive environment for all employees. The role offers structured shifts with clear expectations, and provides opportunities for permanent employment and long-term growth. Shifts are Tuesdays and Thursdays every other week from 3pm-3am

Responsibilities

Perform daily cleaning duties in the warehouse, including sweeping, dustin, mopping, wiping down surfaces and floors. This job consists of lifting / cutting open 50lb bags, lifting / dumping 30-40lb buckets, and scaling up dry ingredients with a scoop in a higher dust environment all throughout the shift Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in all restroom facilities, ensuring they are stocked with necessary supplies and sanitized regularly. Follow all company safety policies and sanitation procedures. Work as part of a team, collaborating with supervisors and coworkers to meet cleanliness standards and ensure a safe working environment. Report any safety hazards or cleanliness issues to supervisors promptly.

Requirements

Ability to perform physical cleaning tasks in a warehouse setting. Ability to follow structured schedules and comply with company policies. Willingness to receive training and follow direction from supervisors. Ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Compliance with safety guidelines and sanitation procedures. Previous experience in sanitation or bakery roles is preferred but not required.
