Great Harvest Bakery & Cafe is looking for a dynamic individual who is mature, happy, honest, friendly, hard-working, organized, detail-oriented, tidy, and a lot of fun! We are seeking someone special to join our team handcrafting phenomenal freshly baked bread and serving Burlington's kindest customers. Those with baking, farming, production, restaurant and/or hospitality experience are preferred but experience is not required. The right candidate will also be looking for a long-term position; the ability to commit to this job is desired and rewarded (

this is not a seasonal position

).

Specific requirements and responsibilities include:

Strong attention to detail, and basic math skills Operating a commercial oven to bake several loaves of beautifully delicious bread under time constraints Hand-kneading yeast-leavened dough and sourdough breads in a time-sensitive environment (don't worry if you don't have experience here--we will train you!*)
Lifting up to 60lbs. Standing for long periods of time Keeping clean, food-safe, and organized workspaces Outstanding hygiene and food safety skills Shifts are approximately 6:30am - 2:30pm, weekday and some weekend availability required
