The overnight baker's job is to help with the dividing, shaping, baking and packing of the daily bread production. Tasks can vary based on experience and skills.
Schedule:
1AM to 9AM with two consecutive days off
Responsibilities:
The overnight baker has the following responsibilities and duties:
Keep a safe and sanitary work area
Divide and shape different types of dough
- If more experience, baking the breads in a deck oven
- Fill and bake breakfast pastries
- Pack the orders
Clean and organize at the end of the day
Requirements:
The overnight baker should have the following skills, abilities and experience:
Pass the food handler certificate
Be able to lift up to 55 lbs.
Be able to stand for extended periods of time
Previous night shift experience is preferred
Compensation:
La Fournette will provide the following compensation:
Start pay of $20 per hour
