ROLE SUMMARY

The Brand Planning Excellence role, is an opportunity to set the stage and define how best-in-class marketing is done at Pfizer, in support of building and sustaining Pfizer\xe2\x80\x99s commercial powerhouse position.

This is a new role in Biopharma, directly reporting into the Marketing Model and Standards Lead and will be responsible for designing and maintaining a best in class innovative and modern marketing model that elevates marketing planning and execution at Pfizer, global in scope and across all customer segments for launch and inline products.

Success in this role will include:

  • Establishing a clear definition of robust Pfizer marketing and launch planning informed by internal and external benchmarks and best practices
  • Deploying a consistent marketing and launch approach for all Pfizer launch and inline brands, incorporating both the art and science needed for breakthrough marketing


ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Design and deploy a robust standard for marketing and launch planning, including frameworks and metrics to enable TA and Biopharma wide data-driven decision making, financial accountability and spend optimization.
  • Assess and implement best in class marketing planning tools that will accelerate and advance marketing planning quality
  • Design and implement Biopharma wide annual marketing/launch planning process aligned with OP standards
  • Ensure best in class marketing standards for all Pfizer launch and inline products at a global scale
  • Assess and integrate innovative methods and tech driven marketing capabilities, partnering with external experts to strategically build and evolve the Pfizer marketing model
  • Identify, activate and engage a network of CMO and Biopharma to validate and deploy marketing model (e.g., Across Marketing Excellence CMO, Media, Business, Analytics, Ops, Global and Local brand teams, Medical and PHI)
  • Continually advance the Pfizer marketing model based on outcomes and progress against benchmarks to ensure that the marketing model is cutting edge
  • Act as a key enabler in building a strong culture and driving the CMOs excellence agenda by defining best in class marketing


BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor\'s degree
  • At minimum 10 years of marketing experience, with a passion for the craft of marketing
  • Understanding of all elements and levers that drives marketing performance; ability to be visionary, yet practical to drive marketing performance
  • Experience in creating and executing marketing strategies in major markets with accountability for decisions and business outcomes; experience with launch brands
  • Track record of strong networking and working collaboratively externally, across functions and geographies
  • Role model for PFE Values (Courage, Excellence, Equity, Joy)
  • Executive presence and demonstrated ability to effectively influence senior leaders and colleagues at all levels of the organization
  • Lead cross-functional and cross-business projects and initiatives, identifying risks and removing roadblocks to enable the teams to achieve successful delivery
  • Strong writing, presentation and influencing skills
  • Demonstrate ability to thrive under pressure, to take accountability and to meet deadlines
  • Strong project and time management and organizational skills
  • Discretion and trustworthiness in dealing with confidential information
  • Ability to manage and coach direct reports and agile teams


PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Advanced degree in marketing or marketing related discipline
  • Minimum of 10 years of marketing management experience
  • Broad knowledge of Life Sciences and healthcare ecosystems
  • Role will be responsible for multiple geographies, and requires flexibility to work with US time-zone on regular basis

The annual base salary for this position ranges from $185,800.00 to $309,600.00. In addition, this position offers an annual bonus with a target of 22.5% of the base salary and eligibility to participate in our share based long term incentive program. Benefits offered include a retirement savings plan, paid vacation, holiday and personal days, paid caregiver/parental and medical leave, and health benefits to include medical, prescription drug, dental and vision coverage in accordance with the terms and conditions of the applicable plans. Salary range does not apply to the Tampa, FL location.

Relocation assistance may be available based on business needs and/or eligibility.
